Hi folks. As many of you know, since 2008 I've been making and selling silk lilac flower pins for those who wish to celebrate the Glorious 25th of May without worry that their lilac has either a. stopped blooming in their part of the world (like me) or b. dying on them during the day. The money raised by these pins is split between the Alzheimer's Association (US) and the Alzheimer's Research Trust (UK).
I'm going to be getting the word out on Twitter on my "official" Twitter account for my Etsy store, since it has the most followers. And that's when an idea that struck me. What if, in the weeks and days leading up to the Glorious 25th, #wearthelilac became a trending hashtag on Twitter, to raise awareness for the need of more funding for Alzheimer's research? Would any of you be willing to lend your Twitter account for such a cause?
